How we work

Chromed Design Studio aims to be a change agent to transform India's image as a not-so-attractive design centre to a hub of post-modern avant-garde designs. Chromed Design Studio is driven not so much by a look, or even a sensibility, but by the endlessly curious creative process that shaped it.

“I know this sounds trite, but it’s not about what’s true now”, says founder principal Abhigyan Neogi. “It’s about asking, ‘what if?’” What if an architect could be as experimental as a chef? What if the building became a character? A living organism? What if your environment could transform with every step?

On a given day, Chromed Design Studio could be working on an F&B project, a residence, a master plan, an interior project, a multi-specialty space, and a commercial project. That confluence of things is probably what makes it unique in its stature. The process behind these projects —the Chromed way—is really a set of permissions to roam and explore. Rather considering Architecture a component of the leadership required for successfully implementing a project, Chromed Design takes it to a new dimension by integrating a team which focuses on all aspects of a project with a team of high skilled professionals with a single window delivery approach.

Our Mission

Architecture at its visionary best exhilarates and inspires. It is a field that embodies design ingenuity, creating spaces and most importantly imagination. Architecture is not the creation of Non-Living Products made of merely Brick and Concrete; rather it is the art of creating Living Organisms that live in Harmony with Mother Nature. It is with this philosophy that we at Chromed Design endeavor to shape up Today’s world by adding Layers of Built forms and Infrastructure that complement the existing surrounding environment.

Since the establishment of Chromed Design will soon be a decade, we have been very innovative, experi¬mentative, and passionately charged with the aim of giving Life to the structures.

Leadership

Abhigyan Neogi

The want to be a sculptor, the craze of a traveler and the thrust of an artist in Architect Abhigyan Neogi pushed him towards architecture. He started working at an early age of 18 when he was still exploring what architecture encompasses and worked on to advertising projects and set designs for plush names like Reliance & LG to name a few.

Furthermore after graduating from TVB School of Habitat Studies, New Delhi in 2008, he stamped his belonging in the fraternity with a name like Morphogenesis. With a distinctive experience in various arches of architecture, interiors & design, there was a humble beginning to his firm Chromed Design Studio in 2010 with a large scale F&B project “Hive” in Gurgaon and a Farmhouse in Delhi. Since then there has been no looking back for Chromed Design Studio and it has successfully completed many popular projects under the able leadership of Abhigyan. Some of which include Fio Cookhouse& Bar-Nehru Place, La Bodega-Khan Market, Impromptu- Gurgaon, office space for names like Housing.com & Uber and some very recent ones like Social Offline- Nehru Place & Number 8- Sunder Nagar in Delhi.

The firm offers contemporary, innovative and functional solutions that can be widely characterized into architecture & interiors of residential, commercial & F&B projects with in-house innovative product designs for every project.

Abhigyan is fascinated with the variety and scale of each project that the firm undertakes and delivers it with utmost passion and drive. He has also been acknowledged with a Young Designer Award in India.

Our Team

For any tree to grow tall and wide, it needs a solid foundation. Similarly for any building to sustain, it needs a solid foundation. Chromed Design Studio’s foundation is laid by committed and clear headed individuals with the right approach towards design. Each individual comes with different mindsets and varying educational backgrounds bringing to the Chromed Design Studio their diverse qualities.

Chromed Design is the tree with roots dig deep into the soil to extract best juices of design, management and execution in order to nourish the tree and for providing a sustainable environment to its vicinity i.e; the world. Each of the team members is a leader here and believes in something different, and their creational styles are unique.
